Re: Olympiad!

Glad you all like the wall! I finished the three racers today and started the archer ... but she will need more work yet. I still need to go back and finish the pennet flags and the big sign.

Don I will try to call you tomorrow (sunday)evening!

Re: Olympiad!

I got the grassy infield done now ... barring any little details that I may add later. Lol! Also had to give the archer a size adjustment. She is now much taller/bigger than she was. She kinda looked like a mini-centaur compared to the racers and the lounging/stretching centaurs.

Grass done!

Archer done ... mostly!

Hello Kerry & VMRS! Yes the grass of the Field area looks nice & the running track of the Javelin thrower! The Archer has changed for the better! With a long bow of that size she has fine looking arms to pull the string to flight the arrows! Kerry, VMRS and everybody... Have a Great Christmas Day or other Happy Holiday you observe! Also have a Happy new Year of 2020! Sincerely, chiron22--Don Kephart

Re: Olympiad!

Happy 2020 everyone! Hope this year brings good health and happiness to everyone!

Here are a couple more brush marks ...
The two girl-tours grooming themselves are now done and I am starting on the main figure with some color base layers. I still need to go back and finish some details in the back but it is mostly finished now.

Sorry for the glare on this. I also had to chop this image down to get the file small enough to upload.

Hello Kerry, VMRS & talisman! Happy New Year to all watching! The Lady Groomers look pretty darn good! ***I have one thing to ask of you, Kerry... To me the Javelin throwers Halter looks a bit Mustard Yellow looking. Would/could you tone it down a couple of shades to be a lighter Yellow! Just my perspective on it! "Rein Halter" IS HER NAME, our Centaur piece lady stick thrower has some nice feathering, and soon nice coloring & finely toned muscles! Maybe a little Sweat! Yes, I know Ladies DON"T Sweat...But Equine beings DO when they work out! Anyway, the update is Cool! Be good every one & enjoy the start of the New Year! Sincerely, chiron 22--Don Kephart

Ok on lightening her top! This isn't finished any way and I usually go lighter as I build up values. Here are some close ups of the 3 in the mid ground. I also started on Rein's face ... just a start. Needs to dry before I continue with it. 😀

Hi there Kerry! The mid-ground characters look pretty nice! Rein's face is starting out well. She has determination on that face for the Javelin throw! I like how her upper body waist joins the horse body! Nice! Her rear legs are well muscled and need a little refining. *Her fore legs and Human arms need a little more muscle. But I know you were going to do that! * I'm not a heel, just suggesting things I notice. I have suggested mostly small things on all of my other commissions. We are free to add. change or delete minor things while you are painting. That is why we get along. Exchanging ideas! I'll stop now and say you are doing a fantastic job, Kerry! Till the next update, Have a great January! Sincerely, chiron22--Don Kephart BTW I love how her Hair & Pony tail & Horse tail turned out! c22

Re: Olympiad!

Ok here I've worked her face some more, lightened and brightened her yellow top, and started on her arms and torso. Yes, Don, I was gonna beef her up more, lol! She now has much more muscularity. My initial drawing was more of a loose place holder since I work out the exact form once I am actually painting it. 🙂

Hi Kerry! Hope you & yours are doing well! YAY! "Rein's" yellow top is colored Perfectly! * I know you have more to do on "Rein's" total body...What I see now are small things. Hope you don't mind! Her wrists should be a little thicker and her left hand seems a tad long! The Centaurian Olympic Flag is getting there! That is all I have! You are doing very well as always Kerry! Talk next update! Bye every one, chiron22--Don Kephart PS. I forgot! Does the Archer have an Arrow Quiver on her human back or on her horse body side? Hidden!? OR...Arrows stuck in the ground before her!?
