Greetings

I'm here!
I'm a beginner and want to learn to draw and sketch. Have been drawing on and off for about a year ( went through most of the exercises in "right side of the brain" about a year ago ) and recently it has been daily -- need it to become a habit and it's starting to. I get a relaxed feeling after sketching that makes the rest of the day somehow better. Thinking of using the "scavenger hunt" on days that I don't find something I want to sketch.

Re: Greetings

Thanks all, yes... I said I started drawing about a year ago but time flies and it must have been closer to two now since I got interested! I recently read Steven Reddy's book and started playing around with his approach and I like it.. and more importantly it got me motivated and going. Something about putting down a line of ink makes me commit to what I"m drawing instead of hesitant lines in pencil... it sounds a little strange but "pretending" I'm confident about placing the lines seems to be leading to actually being confident ( or, at least, committing to drawing the line even if it ends up not being right ) Cheers!
