Tortola Bay finished

Pastels and pastel pencils on white charcoal paper - 18" x 12"

Matted - 24" x 18"

Made a couple improvements since the last WIP and matted it for framing.

In 2014, I painted a pastel winter scene called Gazebo Sunrise (posted on WetCanvas that year), which is hung in our living room. Tortola Bay will replace it in the spring so we can change with the seasons.

Really great foreground texture. The pinks of the flowers work well here

Re: Tortola Bay finished

Thanks, Ginny, Tammy, Mike, Mnn Pasta, Rongier and Donna for the very nice comments.

I may not be posting any art for a while. My Lymphoma cancer has returned and I start chemotherapy again next week. Last time the side effects prevented my from painting for several months. Plan to be back at it as soon as well enough.
