New Creature

I haven't painted all summer. Work got busy. So I started this WIP the other day to ease back into paint handling....

Re: New Creature

Awesome painting very eerie and Gothic. I'm curious as to what inspired this painting? What was the creative process behind it?

Re: New Creature

this one was simply to just get back into painting. I kept the palette very limited so I could focus on paint handling. As far as the image...that's just what happened....I didn't go into it thinking "this is what I am going to paint"

Re: New Creature

The eye is the best part of this work. Welcome back to painting! No more long hiatuses. It's intense but not that intense, and I think that was the intention. This being almost does not look enthusiastic about his nefarious purposes, but almost looks apprehensive. Unless he is a reluctant hero of the underworld, like Angel. Good either way. Ciao!
