Wire Wolf

Been busy bending wire again. This one will be a gift for my aunt for her birthday. She loves wolves.

This one was a bit of a struggle for me, as I had a hard time getting a wolf "feel" to the sculpture. I did my best and hope she'll like it. This piece is 9 & 1/2 inches long by 6 inches tall by 3 inches wide.

That snout was tricky, but this was the best I could do. It was fun, but was not as easy to make as my previous sculptures. Oh well, I hope she'll like it.

I like the stance you chose...a LOT! He looks great with the open (howling) mouth. I'm sure your Aunt is going to love him!

Thanks so much, Cyndi! I wanted to make him a howling wolf so people would recognize the classic wolf pose and not mistake him for a dog. I appreciate the comments.

If only I were that strong! I could make sculptures out of coins then.
