where could I find an empty box for half pans?

I bought some half pans on ebay, but didn't realize they were all loose. Can I buy a box someplace? I found one but it was $50 and I really don't want to spend that.

Barring that, a creative way to store them?

I bought a set of 30 half pans and one random full pan. I just so happened to have a vintage aw faber castell pencil box and it will hold 27. (I think I can narrow it down). I just was stuck on how to keep them from rolling around.

The tiny tin belongs to my OH and is full of half pans fixed in with sticky fixers, I doubt they can be moved easily, but they don't need to be

The larger tin, I used a tin I had and liked. Fixed them in with...

Bluetack! or it may have been putty (kneaded) eraser, the grey one. Didn't take much and they can be moved if I change my mind, but haven't budged since I put them in before Christmas

Do you have a nice tin pencil case? Bluetack? Dark grey (soft) Putty rubber?

Although the ad says 6x, it is actually for 12x half pans.
