Red and silver earrings

I don't know why, but I keep coming back to this color combination. I rarely wear these colors. Anyhow...

Red glass and swarovskis, hematite and gunmetal and antiqued silver findings. Approx. drop from hook is 1.75"

I find red and silver make a dramatic pairing as red usually speaks much louder than, say, blue or green IMO. I wonder if light blue would pair well with silver (just thinking outloud...and typing it... )

The bell-shaped finding is a nice element, if you have more it'd be nice to see you experiment with it.

Thanks. I actually started out with red, light blue, black and white, which is the color of the blouse I'm wearing. I found that I simply could not force myself to put those colors together.

I do have several more of those bell shaped thingies. I've been thinking, but no lightbulbs yet. I may try for something with the light blue just to experiment. Most of the time I just open up everything and look around to see things that catch my eye unless I have a specific plan in mind. I lay it all out on a table so I can just scan over all of it. Plus, my bead storage has semi-clear drawers. Right now, I'm trying to make as much as I can without having to buy anything new.

Sandy, you may not wear a lot of red (I do) but those would also go great with black, gray, or white, as well as any print that had a tiny speck of red. Great design.

I think it depends on who is wearing them in terms of the effect the combination has - I think it would look particularly good with someone with mediterrean skin and dark hair. But play around and see what you like best.
