Here are the still lifes I have done recently. They are all done on black paper with mungyos and neopastels.

Great to see your recent work. Both of these are wonderfully done. I really like the texture you have in both of these paintings. The cherries have such a wonderfully realistic ring of reflected light on them – and that’s a lot of cherries. Great job!
Your hydrangeas and limes painting is so beautiful – all the soothing blue and lavender shades, with the pretty bright greens from the limes. The shaping and composition is just great.

It’s so funny, Maria – somehow when I first looked at these, the second painting of the apricots didn’t load and I didn’t notice. oops
My comments were only for the first and last paintings. All three are loading now for me. I must take a moment to say the shadows on the apricot painting are really beautiful – I like that you put in some reflective color in the shadows. Looks great.
