experiment artclass (x-post pen and ink)

We did a little experiment in artclass today. We had to start a drawing/painting from observing a still life and halfway through we had to finish someone elses who has a complete different style and uses a differtent medium..I hope this makes sense, English is not my native tongue I used a Pentel brush pen and started this one :

What a fun and challenging exercise! I really like your design. Were you satisfied with the other student's work on your drawing? Are you satisfied with your contribution to his pastel?

John

This exercise is quite clever. It's interesting to see someone else's ideas mix with your own. Thank you for sharing.

I loved how a different style and media brought and extra dimension to my work, I am going to try this myself at some point... start with pen/brush and black ink and finish with bold pastels. It was harder the other way around because his observation is not always correct and at some point I had to let go. It was very interesting to do, there were some surprising results from the other students too.
