I know the figure seems our of proportion with upper body and legs bent. I tried to put more lines to account for this. I don't feel I was too successful. All comments and advice are appreciated. Thanks.

It doesn't look out of proportion to me Arlene, the raised leg looks foreshortened correctly. It's hard to give feedback as I don't understand the technical and physical limitations you are working from.

Thanks Bill. I have tremors that can be bad enough I can't work. They will be putting me on meds. for the tremors. Both arms are weak which is why I have difficulty cleaning up and changed to a cleaner medium.

Arl,

I like the figure you have portrayed, (these paintings of sportsmen reminded me, I sometimes watched tennis matches on TV, at Wimbledon (or rollang garros, perhaps both but more ROlland garros) sometimes framed some artists, an artist at work, I can think of some of their canvases that were framed in passing or in the foreground, that is the only other occasion where I had noticed paintings by artists during their action before signing up on wetcavans) honestly the pose, I am seemed natural and I like the painted moment.

I wish you the best for everything, a warm greeting

Thanks David. I use ArtRage 64 bit and Intuos 5 with their standard nib. I have used Corel Painter. I also use Photoshop Elements to change to JPEG and sometimes touch up. All my computers are android.

I am not familiar with working indirectly on a tablet like that can you increase the size of the image you are working on to put in more detail, is that something you want to do? You don't use line is it problematic for you? I see your themes that you care about are sports and movement is this correct? I used painter 11 about 8 years ago but have forgotten most of it I gave it to my son when I sopped using the Cintiq 21.

A lively sketch and we can see the defensive wariness in the posture.
Your colours and your blocking approach to the figure recall a computer a game. I always expect your sports folk to start moving to a suitably electronic soundtrack. That is meant as a positive comment as I'm a big fan of computer graphics.

Yes, I love to capture movement in sports figures and ballerinas.
