Re: Mystery board FINISHED

Ah it's been such a labour of love for you Lorna and it shows in your work. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. I think you will have trouble parting with this. Just breathtaking. So much depth of field and intricate scratching.

Thank you for sharing.

Are you still having problems with your photo editing. I used to use a very simple program that did most things I wanted to do (ACDSee 9). I have just updated to ACDSee 14 and they have added some nice edits to it. You can download it for 30 days free trial. Then I think it's about $60 to purchase. Have a look at it. Good value for money

Re: Mystery board FINISHED

That cat looks just like my grand kitty! They could be twins! I think it's part of a tree branch...but I'm new here, so who knows.

I have only done a few serious scratch board drawings so far. I have done three different Border Collies. I just got a new camera, and plan to take photos of my friends' performance horses and try doing scratch boards of them. I usually do photorealistic pencil drawings, but find the scratch board gets quite a reaction from people who have never seen this fun form of art.

Sorry...I'm new to this forum and can't quite figure it all out...but I see I am quite an amateur at scratch board! Y'all are amazing! This group will definitely make me want to step it up and try to do better!
