Reminds me of the last time I read a Penthouse. Must have been in the early 70s. A putative short story. The girl says, “This is a birch wood. You would like to birch me, no?” I’m no prude, but I trashed that mag and never picked it up again

Thank you very much…Yes I sometimes use pencils first to get the forms correct and then put acrylics over that, and at other times I use pencils on part of the art and acrylics on other areas of the same piece to get a different look on the finished piece. It’s fun to mix and match stuff like using Mars black acrylic in charcoal pieces to get deep black areas in places, for example.
