cubism european 1950's recomended books?

Hi one of my favourite artists in cubism(who incidently was not massively famous but was around at the time when cubism was big and was around on the scene and gets a few mentions here and there) he was European that much I can remember .I had images stores on line of his work but then computer wrecked and lost images and can not remember what the guys name was and was very interested to read more about him.So was wondering if anyone knew of or could recommend any books on cubist artists around that time in that mention more unheard of artists and not just books on select famous artists etc..many thanks
Sculpture is what you bump into when you back up to see a painting..Barnett Newman
