A study of ice

I quite liked doing the ice in "The last U-Boot" and wanted to see what else is possible. It is a technique that I have developed myself and it is also used for the planet, I think it makes for great visuals. This is a study of ice in space and I would like to know what you think.

Looks cool, the shapes look right as water in zero G has those sorts of shapes.

Correct, I got the idea for the form from pictures of comets, they all seem to have the waist and it has gotten me wondering if the same physics are at work here with low-density comets and water in zero-G.

That does look cool. I like the feeling of depth.

Love both the planet and the water/ice! But, you did want to know what I think, so here goes: The limb on a gas giant planet should be a bit darker, as opposed to a "rock" planet, which should be lighter.
