Spring!
Parksville Bay March 20th thousands of birds Scoters, Longtail ducks, Thousand or so Brant , Gulls , Plovers, Eagles, Sea Lions and Seals, Dolphin, a Submarine and a Cruiser(the Regina) off Lasquiti, painting thru rain, snow, sun, wind....the Lion of March pastel 18 x 24"
the Sub and the Regina, I'll have to get a camera with a working zoom!

What a flurry of activity! It's great that you always have something in motion to paint, Dan. It would be nice if the sub would hold still long enough to model for you.

Hi David another exciting day at our shore, Dolphin are the bonus
Hi Donna, I once painted a nuclear submarine early in my plein air journey
it was sailing thru a stormy sea pastel, I added it in just a black tower. While I was working a photographer came and set up a large box camera took a few shots then left before the sub came by I think of the pics the photo guys miss when I am out there painting

Thanks for kind comments Patrice, Greg, and Greg it sounds like a low roar when they all take flight as they will when an Eagle flies overhead, I miss the gronking of the Brant Geese when leave for the artic, Hi Terry and thanks Mary

Hi Lynn, those old british subs, the Queen is happy to pawn them off on the colonies, boys with toys, Thanks Randy those birds are busy but I havn't been hit yet
