Lorna

Oh one thing......I keep mentioning the Artists.......
well.....I haven't mention the art!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had the chance to press my nose against some of the coolest boards.
Rod's Plien Air works......Man are they GOOOOOOD. He has developed a technique and mastered it with a force that is beyond understanding. You should see his killer Coi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his Mech Spiders....Frank-Einstien....and even more.....MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've held Cathy's latest wolf piece........one word.......HOLYFREAKINGSCRATCHES!!!!!!!! One thing I didn't mention is she demo-ed a new technique for doing fur.....with a 3M pad (Jenny )
DEFINITELY check out that video when it gets posted!!!!!! WELL WORTH watching twice
Rod, Cathy, Angela, Steff and I got a tour of Diane's art at her house. It took two Margaritas and some sweet talking by the silver tongued Rod but it was too cool! She has some AWESOME works....not just scratchboard She also has a cool erasure technique that I will be watching every second of when she does it Did I mention she's really shy and quiet. You almost need a crowbar to pry her words out of her mouth! One thing for sure as well......she DRIVES BETTER THAN CATHY!!!!
Oh and DIANA LEE's works!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fish Face is an even more delicious and eye fattening piece eye candy when it's just mere inches away from your face
She also brought the piece with her Grandmothers hat on her Grand Daughter..........OMG......It is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! And chess pieces.....well as I said....DELICIOUS!
There's more.......but my mind is wanting to scratch......instead of type

Re: Tex-scratch 2011

Not sure we are going to get any pics today. I'm not sure if Allan is going to be awake enough to know which way to point the camera never mind having the strength to click the shot! And posting them ...... well that might push his energy reserves over the top. Lol!

Great commentary of all the demos and scratching going on! Thank you for posting it all!

Allan, man you gotta sooth that addiction when you can. I couldn't sleep last night and was scratching at 4:30am myself. You are doing a superb job of describing the goings on down there. I for one can't think of any one that cculd do a better job of it. Thanks buddy. You make reading it fun.
