Re: Can't see what's on CD

If the CD is readable on a Windows PC, you should be able to use Window Explorer to browse their contents. If there is text files (most likely in the root directory), read them for hints for special software needed for viewing.

If you can find the image files in other directories (folders), double click on them to see if they are displayed or generate any error message. If still failed, pls post the file extension of the image files here.

Re: Can't see what's on CD

That's just it...they show as nothing! No file extensions...as if the drive was empty. Put in cd or audio...fine ..no probs....just the one cd!
I can see the files on my other computer....I've just checked ...so it's obvioously to do with the drive itself.

Re: Can't see what's on CD

It can be a simple, but doesn't have to be, as cleaning both drive and CD.
Micro-fibre tissue is great for cd's, Clean it with strokes from the inside out. Contrary to popular beleive where most people make a circular motion.
Get a lens cleaning CD and run that.

How are you Deirdre, it's been awhile.

edit: your other computer is not a Mac, is it?

Hi Ron....Long time no see! I'm fine, how are you?
I'd better try cleaning the drive then! I usually just use air duster!

Re: Can't see what's on CD
