Re: Scavenger Hunt #586 May 4- 12th

Here I am again.
Number 8, immovable - rock divider in waiting room
In travel sketchbook with the Prismacolor 03, I had to finish the rocks this morning, I only waited for Gene for about 15 minutes. Ha.

Joan — Thanks and lovely scene! 😊 Wish I was there

Ai — Thanks so much! Rest can be a wonderful thing but I'm sorry about your injuries Get well soon and easy does it 😊 Your joyful flowers make me smile 😄 Your tender painting of Lily is touching. Beautifully done ☀️

Jo — Thanks so much, and I love what you said because meditation is truly "peaceful" and "joyful" in a way that transcends the difficulties that sometimes prompt it. Best wishes and hugs to you and Gene More gadgets!!! And lovely sketches to explore - amazing rock wall, wow 🔆

Re: Scavenger Hunt #586 May 4- 12th

PC, lovely together
Joan, lovely trees in a row, looks a nice place to picnic.
Ai, great to see your daughter learning piano, hope the teacher doesn't rap her knuckles if she plays a wrong note The orchid is beautiful.
Jo, neat doorway, like that key and its useful key ring. Yep, that rock room divider would be pretty tuff to move, nice stonework...

...two quick badly photographed sketches here...

1 beautiful, my sweet niece...

2 immovable, sisters fireplace...

Ai - Glad to see you were able to do some painting. Lovely orchid and nice sketch of Iris at the piano!

Jo - Thanks so much. Wishing Gene good results from his surgery. We get 2 doorways for the price of one!!! Not many of us carry around backup knives. lol

Pine Cone - Thank you.

Kat - Thanks. That is a nice, sensitive sketch of your niece! Good job on that sturdy fireplace.

Hope to be back in a little while to post something for the hunt.

Thanks, everyone, from Gene and me.

Scatty, nice fireplace and beautiful niece. I like your hair technique.

I did a little playing in the pastel dust. about 8 x 10 inches, 30 minutes or so.

Number 9, beautiful - a little pewter vase from Bolivia.

Jo, I love the colors and the way you handled the highlights and metallic look!

6 - train (It doesn't look like a train but it was sketched on the train...the Long Island Railroad going into the city today. The woman was braiding the girl's hair.) watercolors and ink
7 - immovable building - watercolors and ink
8 - doorway - watercolors and ink
8 - child's play (sand shovels and balls)
