Re: Two Little Cottages

Like the lose branches/foliage and warmth from the pink/orange in the 1st.
2nd: Inviting composition, path leading thru trees to little cottage with warm fire, and orange fg and blossom - beautiful.
The fg flowers and simple background make for a lovely scene. very nice Michael.

Re: Two Little Cottages

Love, love, love those two cottage scenes Michael. Sometimes I think isolated houses can look a little spooky, but you have made the cottages look so welcoming. Love the chimney smoke in the second. I love your trademark pinky flowers in all of them, especially in the beautiful third one, with those little flecks of scattered flowers. All excellent!

Re: Two Little Cottages

I agree with Bizzibee - your cottages are always so welcoming - I would want to live in them. These are so beautiful, and all of them have your signature soft and delicate touch - very dreamy

Beautiful. Especially one that has a smoking chimney.

Re: Two Little Cottages

Great work. I will join the others: I like the second best with its path and break in the frontal trees. Gary

Re: Two Little Cottages

Beautiful paintings. My favorite is the first one. I really like the way you painted the windows and roof surrounded by the majestic foilage.

Re: Two Little Cottages

Beautiful painting Michael, I always enjoy the way you create each cottage and trees within the landscape with their own personality and colours.

I like your soft brushstrokes. Charming little scenes, especially the cottage home.
