Thanks all for your praise, greatly appreciated.
The complex scene was at first a bit daunting and required more planning than usual for me. A bit out of comfort zone.....good I guess
I want to add that I used thin paint over the white gesso ground in some areas letting the white brighten, similar to watercolor technique. Then other areas, the paint is thick. Painted wet on wet in about 7 hours ( two sessions).

Wonderful! It's amazing how you not only gave the trees such natural color but they glow as the sunlight passes through their leaves!
