AHHHHHHH - this is surely a winner! I see you got your turquoise in as well!
A proliferation of beautiful clean color to give warning of a storm. I think the raw sienns acts as the catalyst to this piece and compliments the turquoise perfectly. STUNNING WORK!

That foreground is super Caroline: those wonderful colours! Love those sweeping clouds across that brooding grey sky.

Gale force is believable in this painting. The color choices are definitely electrifying and fun. Gary

Lovely! Lots of energy and movement. I don't know why, but it reminds me a little of close up photos of Jupiter from NASA.

Re: Gale Force Outer Hebrides

Hello Richard, your turquoise painting inspired me on Monday afternoon to search for my turquoise paint! I found it and the result is what you see here! I got some nice luminious darks by using the raw sienna and the purple and the yellow you see here is the hansa yellow. Thank you so much for inspiring me and for your lovely comment.

Many thanks Bizzi for your fine words about my painting, much appreciated.

Hi Gary I knew I wanted to use the turquoise but apart from that I was intending to paint a peaceful scene! funny how things worked out into a storm!! Many thanks for your nice comment.

Thank you so much Mike for your lovely comment.

Many thanks Heather for your encouraging words, so pleased I managed to get into the studio this week!

Hi Randy, thank you! much appreciated.

Such a feeling of being blown sideways in this one, Caroline! Mission accomplished - and with stunning colors as well! I missed leaving a comment on your previous Spring painting ... that glorious sky!
