I’ve found I do most of my drawing these days while waiting for the bus. A pair of pages from my pocket sketchbook:

The top image was done with a sailor fude nib pen with water soluble ink and the lower with a pair of microns, with some ink stolen from the upper image with a waterbrush to make some shadows.

Two very good sketches there, the bus one is full of life has an air of ease about it.
The flower seed head has a real feeling of fine art because of it being finely drawn & lit – very 3D.
Two very different sketches in style, small but definitely not insignificant !

You capture a lot of character in that first one … very good sketch.
The second is an exquisite piece of drawing and observation …. delicate, sensitive, very nice.

I guess the buses are often not on time?

            Cheers, Maureen

Sadly they are, they just don’t come often enough!
