...Just Breathe X-post

Another mixed media piece, including watermedia in the way of acrylic paints and inks.

I made this for my Sis who lost her eldest son last year. The words brought her a lot of comfort.

Thank you, Doug! It's given me great pleasure to tool this art work as well. I love a challenge, and embossing the letters (from the reverse, backwards) certainly gave me that challenge! LOL I hope my Sis likes it, I think she will.

JayJay, this is very nice work. I think it must have been emotionally difficult to do.

Regards,
Greg.

Re: ...Just Breathe X-post

Hi and thanks to you both. Kaye and Greg - it was so very hard for my Sister to lose her eldest son last year (my nephew) and all the tried and trusted things you say to give some comfort just didn't seem to work... you can't think of anything which might 'make it better'... However, this one rang true for my Sis, and that lead to me wanting to put it into some sort of art form, so that she can just glance up and read the words, and hopefully feel a bit calmer. It was difficult to do, on an emotional level as well as a creative one. But very fulfilling to actually master it.
my Sister will like it!
