An amazing plein air piece!
How long have you been painting on this one?

Re: Project Discussion: wetcanvas paint out!

I uploaded my painting to Final Images but it isn't showing up in the Gallery. Is there somewhere else these are supposed to go? I will try again , but my apologies if it ends up duplicated...

Still not showing up in the Gallery Exhibit. Where do these go? What am I missing?

Somehow it didn't upload Colin. Did you resize it?

No, Doug, but I did get a message here thanking me for sharing my images:

http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/...=upload_final2

(which now links to an "invalid project" message!

It does appear on this page:

http://www.wetcanvas.com//Community/Projects/index.php

Is this the page where we are supposed to view everyone's submissions? Some of them appear on the Gallery page.

Re: Project Discussion: wetcanvas paint out!

Colin you uploaded it to the wrong project. It is showing in Still Life Retrospective. Click on one of the links in previous posts then the heading WetCanvas Paint Out then use the uploading link there.

I have deleted the two copies from that project. Please upload again in this project

Doug I followed the link from "Click here!" in Mary's first post on this thread and was taken to this project where I uploaded the paintings. How it ended up on "Still Life Retrospective" is baffling.

I will try again from the link you have given in your post.

****

I discovered that the problem is that the "Click here!" link goes to a project page, but then the "upload final images" link goes to a general projects dialogue box and not to a page for this specific project and it was necessary to change the name of the project in the drop down bar. Sorry to be a nuisance. Feel free to deleted these posts to keep the discussion thread focused on the submissions.

That's OK Colin, the explanation will be a help to others. We haven't had a project in ages.

Re: Project Discussion: wetcanvas paint out!

Followed this link a few weeks back. Been busy and not on WetCanvas lately. Glad I stumbled on, just in time. Signed up and ready to get something posted this week. For those who have already posted - Great work. I love all the variety of locations. Best thing about this project, we get to seed stuff from all over.

I like the warm sunlight on the building in this one.

Beautiful soft colours in a great composition. What a nice spot this must have been to set up in!

I love the loose sketchy feel of this, Mary. Nice!

The limited palette and chunky brushstrokes create a real sense of solidity, Freisin. Sehr nett.
