Morning everyone.

Ok who forgot to pay the outside heating bill????. It was 17 F outside this morning when I got up. Brrrr. Furnaces are already up and running here. Fortunately we do need to actually run them. I guess I should not complain. I saw on the news that The Buffalo area was getting slapped with snow. I'll take the cold over what they are getting.
Beth we use the furnaces to shape the glass that use for our tile business. We also use kilns and furnaces to make glass eyes for our other business line. The eye shop is a bit odd. After you get over the idea of eyes laying everywhere it is pretty interesting. The eyes are made mostly for taxidermy and wood carvers, but we have done them for museums and movies.

Ok time to get moving.

Have a good one.

Carlos, brrrrr....we have warmed up from the teens and actually have seen 50's today. Wish I could share that with you. I had no idea part of the business was glass eyes! That is pretty cool. I never thought about where taxidermy shops get eyeballs.

Danny passed his driving test by the skin of his teeth. He turned left in front of someone and I'm amazed he passed. I think the thing that got him through is the fact that he is only 14 and has to drive with me for another year and a half. I'm glad it is over with.

I'm hanging out at work waiting to give a test at 5:30 to a group of online algebra students. They are coming in for finals this week. More will be in right after Thanksgiving. This semester is almost over at the college. I think everyone is ready to wrap this one up.

Have a good one.
