My sister was here on a visit a couple years ago when the alarms went off. We of course did what everyone does when the tornado alarms go off. No, not go to the basement, we went and looked outside (and that’s how you know, you’ve lived in Tornado Alley for too long). She was surprised that the sky really did get that greenish yellow cast to it. She was even more surprised by the smell of the ionized air and that dirt smell you get when they come near.
Your painting made me think of that smell. Made a shudder go down my spine. Well done!!
