Well, I made it through the summer and hope I won't have to turn on the dreaded a/c again this year. I think I have a permanent chill with all the heat around me,

Went to the art store last week and dared to browse a little...this is fateful as I want to buy everything. Found some wonderful sculpture tools and I don't even sculpt. I just liked their design. Managed to control myself and walked out with only a pad of bristol board and three tubes of paint.

Hope everyone had a nice summer and got to go on a vacation somewhere cool. Happy September!

Hi Janet. I love visiting art shops too. Hope to get into town tomorrow and go to art suppliers as well as the art gallery. There's an exhibition of children's illustrators....I think the artist who did 'A tiger came to tea' and the mog books...Judith Kerr.... and I hope I have not missed seeing it!!

we have a new art shop near where i work....i work so much in pencils...im glad...its cheaper .....tyree
