Slate Gray/Black (PBk19)

Was curious if anyone's tried this pigment and what they thought. Especially interested in what kinds of tints it makes? Thank you.

Here's an old photo with that slate black in the second row. I can't guarantee color accuracy.

It's similar to mars black, but not as strong tinting. I like it.

I used Williamsburg's Slate Black for portraiture for a while. Not quite black, low tinting strength, played nice with lead white and other earth colors. Also that lovely earthy gritty texture some of WB's earth colors have. Very nice.
