Amy - welcome here!
I love the mushrooms/toadstools! - I like the other two as well - very precise drawing!

Bonnie - I always feel sorry for the hog being roasted! ..... and levitating a pumpkin? - magic!

Ron - a witch in heels! Yes!!! The tree looks terrifying!

The peanuts were sketched from life, Tanya as it is great practice!
BBL to comment more.

Here is mine for the prompt 'Spell'. The woman's eye is casting a spell onto whomever glances her way 5x7 book text using black Tombow brush pen + a little water to blend.

Love all these new ones today! Great stuff.

Here's my Day 4 - Spell (I'm sure many out there will do a scrabble board image):

Re: INKTOBER - for those who would like to share their work!

Michael and Maureen, thank you so much for such kind words.
I drew this "spellbook" from imagination, so what you said about it Maureen is especially encouraging.
I will definitely post more

I was already looking into the monthly challenge thread and I might have a couple ideas.

Most of all, it's great and really inspiring to see you all post your works here, as they are amazing.
I must say I didn't think Inktober would be so addictive, can't wait till tomorrow.

Re: INKTOBER - for those who would like to share their work!

It's really good to see so many responses! More since I posted earlier today
Tom - sorry I missed the evil collector of gems!

Kay - casting an evil eye on proceedings?

Arttorney - good to see your drawings again - I especially like the last one, but they're all good - and slightly evil?

Michael - glad to see someone else thought of an alternative interpretation - I was wondering why that onr hadn't been drawn yet - it's good!

Re: INKTOBER - for those who would like to share their work!

I love Inktober because of all the varying styles and interpretations.

@Maureen- Thank you. I'm glad to be back. Most of the life drawing models where I go have been very nice to me. I probably just draw evilly. My Drawing 1 professor took one look at a self portrait I did and started talking excitedly about "intensity" and Lucien Freud. The same drawing was later rejected from the student show for being "too sad."

Michael, I really do admire your Scrabble board illustration, just great!

Mine is now cropped and looks better so here it is again. Tomorrow's prompt is 'Chicken'.

Re: INKTOBER - for those who would like to share their work!

The Aqueduct at Segovia.

(It had a cameo in the first episode of the show I am riffing on. The next traditional art in my list is, um, large, and I was tired. I struggle with realism and with natural color, so spent much of the time on this one feeling sullen but accomplished for making the effort on a day that I really, really wasn't feeling it.)

I was hesitating on posting today's as it is ink and wash and the ink isn't hugely obvious; I am trying to be respectful about touristing the Pen & Ink forum. But the ink was the vast majority of my time, about 5:1, and I see some other colorful folks popping up.

veryone's stuff is looking so great! I would leave more specific comments, but spending several hours a day on stressing over representational art has been seriously cutting into my forum time. Maybe tomorrow.

Re: INKTOBER - for those who would like to share their work!

Hi everyone! I haven't been around on WC for a while (been very inactive with my art) - but I heard about Inktober on Instagram, and have been taking part. Figured it was just the kick up the bum I needed to get me drawing / painting again!

I logged into WC today to browse the image library for a reference for today's theme, I should have known there'd be a forum thread here on Inktober! Very happy to find it, and to see all your works. Thought I'd share mine so far. I've been using the official prompts, and copic inks as my medium.

Poisonous

Tranquil

Roasted

Spell

Great drawings everybody. It's really motivational when so many are participating.

Remember the old riddle? ........

There so many good contributions here, my head is spinning! Please keep them coming! And thanks for the kind words on mine.

Ron, this last one gave me a good chuckle.

Re: INKTOBER - for those who would like to share their work!

Lol - thanks for the giggle ron!

Weles - this 'chicken' too made me smile!

Jess - welcome back ...... I'm not sure whether the original Inktober meant/means a majority of pen work - *shrug* but I'm assuming markers here for all of them? Nice works - and a selfie for poisonous?

gement - don't stress about the wash - it's usually quicker than penwork, just looks more cos it covers large areas! Quite testing doing all this building work! Good though!
