I finally watched all 5 parts of the video. Very enjoyable and informative, and what a lot of work Mr. Crown has stacked up in his studio!
It was interesting the way he put the drawing on the plate, is that the way you do it also, Andrew?

Hi Magrit,

I've never tried that with mezzotint, but I have with lino cuts - with mixed results: it's good for getting the registration spot on, but I've had problems with the plates slipping. But I've never really worked at the technique to iron out this problem.

We've got some sunshine this morning after a traditional British wet weekend.
