Re: Dark Pastels

I use Terry Ludwig's Intense Darks I and II. Sennelier single sticks #178 and #179 are a very dark green. Great American also has a wonderful dark set.

Re: Dark Pastels

Unison Dark Jewels.

I've found that *different* brands have *some* sticks in purer dark colours, so handpicking them is also an option.

Probably hard to beat TL, though, they're wonderfully dark.

I have also heard that Dianne Townsends darks i think they are called midnight colors are really dark. this is from Deborah Secor, not from me. I use Terry Ludwigs Intense Dark 1 and 2. Love them!

Re: Dark Pastels

All of the above. I LOVE my Terry Ludwig Darks II set, as well as the Diane Townsend "Almost Black" set (which Deborah turned me on to).
