Yes it is! Aside from a varnish. I find that an interesting question because it doesn't look finished does it? I find that once I have said what needs to be said in a work, would adding more detail deliver that message better? probably not!

Thank you! I paint a lot of stuff in a box! i just like the way it frames it all in. Its an easy way to contain the viewers eye!

I couldn't agree more! That attitude of "does it say what needs to be said?' is what keeps me from overworking a painting and moving on to the next one!
