I like it. The take-aways: 1. The color of skin need not be "flesh color," and 2. Modeling is often improved by using different hues, not just lighter and darker of a single hue.

Mark- I usually don't render everything, i like to keep it a sketch, i always look at my work from a distance, if the unfinished areas don't scream attention then i don't deem it necessarily to finish. Of course this is just my taste :-)
