Thank you Regina, Egon and Annie. My father would have been delighted if he could hear your comments. And I must say I'm proud of his work and that you liked it. I dew something from him but would never come close. After all he was a pro and he had such an ease in producing wonderful relaxed yet accurate Leonardish drawings. He mostly did children books illustrations for living. As a painter he mostly produced abstract works and the above one is one of the few in different style. In life this one has incredible miniaturist details which do not show on this rather inferior photo taken through the glass with flash and trying to avoid reflection - so it became a bit blurred. I always wondered how on earth could he get so tini details even with the best quality kolinski brushes he used...
