                        These are stunning in their simplicity. I particularly like the break in the line of the ladle handle as it passes and bends behind the class. Lovely work!

                                    I also like the line of the ladle behind the glass, as well as how the handle is broken up behind the glass. The color schemes in both paintings are wonderful. The reflections in the white pot in the second painting really make it as if I could feel the texture. I also like how the bowl and plate are intricate but this pot has just the four blue dots.

                                    Being born places you at a greater risk of dying later in life.

                                    water girl, AllisonR, thank you! I’m glad you mentioned the distortion of the ladle behind the glass. That’s how this painting started. I moved my props on the shelf and suddenly saw that distortion. I liked it very much and decided to make a painting with it.
