Still Life With Landscape

This is a still-life I did awhile ago, and decided to make a landscape in the background.

Any comments welcome.

I like the fruit. The only thing that sort of bothers me is that the fruit seems to extend out the window. Perhaps you could pull the table top backwards a bit more.

I have sold several still lifes that had landscape backgrounds. The purchaser feels like they are getting a two for one - still life and landscape.

Thanks Fink, I enjoyed doing this.

There's a story behind it. Last year I had surgery, and the pain medication was ...uh...bringing a halt to my bodily functions My boss's wife brought me a huge amount of fruit to help my along, and when I recovered, I had all this fruit left over so I painted this still-life and gave it to her for her kindness.

Those grapes look yummy.
I reckon if you had have extended to fruits out of the window more, you would have had a really cool surreal painting.
