old rose

Though not got any current artwork i did find a photo of this oil pastel rose study i did about 5 years ago. ^-^

i haven't used oil pastels for like 5 years either lol i do have a small set somewhere but i think watching the girl 4 years my junior drawing a hippo with them and making it look like a photo put me off...she was extremely good with them.
i think've gotten stuck into using colouring pencils...i need to keep playing with other mediums?or is it media?

thankies BD, maureen and Val. Yes it was a very pretty rose dark on the outside and pale on the inside..i should see if the original photo is amongst my schoolwork.
