Fourth Element

Hi there- I have been using watercolors for years, but I have been switching over to gouache for the past few months..... This one is mainly gouache, but has a couple touches of watercolor. Clear coated with 10 layers of acid free Krylon gloss spray. C&C Welcome....

Re: Fourth Element

Fantastic work Geoff, did the acid free Krylon gloss spray change the original colours and soften any sharp key-lines or edges?

Re: Fourth Element

@Merritt - I was worried about that, but I think it did no "harm" to the lines/edges. And it certainly let the gouache/watercolors "POP" for vibrancy which is what I was thriving towards. I am thrilled with the results and as far as I am concerned, I won't go back to glass! I'll post a pic of the piece in the custom mount I created.....
