Misty autumn road
Hi all,
I haven't posted lately, been too busy drawing. I am experimenting with different surfaces and turpenoid and Gamsol. I love doing landscapes but found it very tedious with cps. I think I figured out how to get certain effects and I am soooo happy. I am posting this work, it is now framed and ready to hang but I don't think I want to part with it. So let me know what you think.

Re: Misty autumn road
I think it's really nice, Gale. It sure gives the feeling of an autumn in the eastern woodlands. Would you tell us what the paper/canvas is?

Re: Misty autumn road
I also think it is very nice. Love the colors and the effect. I liked using burnishing fluid on some things but on others found it made it look strange. Anyway this is a lovely piece and I am glad you found a way to do what you love.

Re: Misty autumn road
Great job Gail, this really came out well. My advice would be to keep it and enjoy it. I have one of my first landscapes on the wall and I really enjoy it.

Love how the foliage comes together...the road not so much, it looks unfinished.

Re: Misty autumn road
Thank you all for your kind comments. The color didn't come out that good in the picture. The colors are much softer and at the end of the road there is a mist. To answer your question Robert, it is an 8x10. Thank you again
I wish you could all see the original.
