Thumbs up

I guess because I grew up on Comic Books, Barry Windsor Smith, he's english, and has a website for those of you interested. When I discovered the museum, I grew to admire alot of the masters. But my preferences lie elsewhere. Amado Pena is my favorite American Indian Artist. And my third choice would have to be Alan Lee, a watercolor painter who does alot of Arthurian & Tolkeinesque work.

Baquitania:

Are you also familiar with Barry Windsor-Smith, Charles Vess, and John J. Muth?

Muth is one of my favourites.

Keith.

Whew!!, tuff question, 3 that come to mind are Van Dyck, Hals, Rembrandt. I don't think more beautifully graceful hands have been painted than by Van D., not to mention the rest of his painting- portrait painter without equal.
Hals, he could paint with such bravura, and Rembrandt...weighing everything about him, over all history, he is the painter...

Yes Keith, I always forget the hyphen in Windsor-Smith. Conan Rules. I know Vess, but not Muth. But if we're talking comic art, I'd also like to add Mike Kaluta & Alfredo Alcala...

Hey, TeAnne, didn't Donald Fisher have an original Streeton in Home And Away?! Was it a Streeton? ( Asking you as if you'd definitely know 'cause you're from Oz! )

LOL!
