Dragon brought out

Today is a day where the cure for is another dragon post. This fellow is 5x7 micron .05 in an economical spiral pad. There will be more. Showing this fairly new stuff and older stuff too puts the good feelings back inside. Thanks for looking.

Interesting...this sorta reminds me of the old "Wizard of Oz" book series illustration...

Re: Dragon brought out

Aww Kramus! I'm sorry to hear you're feeling blue. Coming here and sharing my art with everyone here is often the highlight of my day as well. I hope that I help to put a bit of smile on your face.. As for the dragon, all I can say again is wow! I love this one..he's got a personality. I'd love to share a cup of joe with him..at least at a safe distance. Your technical skill blows me away. There is no room for improvement except to say this: Keep em' coming!!!

Thumbs up Re: Dragon brought out

I think this is my favorite of your dragons so far!

This one seems rather playful, what with the little coffee cup and all. Is that coffee or tea, or who knows what dragons might drink? Somehow, I see this one as drinking tea... perhaps even "Earl Grey" (a personal favorite).

It also reminds me of a seahorse (another personal favorite!).

You really put some great texture in there too!

Now he (she?) just needs some friends (hint, hint).

Good stuff!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I just love fantasy art with a humorous spin. Wonderful looking dragon.

I love the wing-buds.... and it is NOT coffee in that cup.....

I am trying not to feel a dragon coming-on....

Re: Dragon brought out

Hello dcolb121 - I remember we were raised on the Wizard series - my mom would read from them when we came home for lunch from school. What a wonderful world Mr Baum created eh?
Kate thankyou, you indeed did give me a smile. And I'm glad you like my dragon.
Kevin I couldn't say what's in the cup because I can't get the beasties attention long enough to ask.
Crytal thanks - I plan to put some more dragons here soon.
DrLondon - I'm glad you like the light touch. Dragons are indeed creatures of wonder
Mary, I wouldn't drink from that cup no matter what the dragon said. Just on principle.
Teresa I was trying for a kinder, gentler dragon. The shape here is a result of my making it part of an alphabet I poke away at - you are looking at the lower case "a"

Re: Dragon brought out

Your dragons have so much character, in fact they strike me as dragon character studies. I think you'd do very well illustrating stories! I wish the pen and ink behaved as well for me as it does for you.

The word on the street is WC might softly, slowly slip away
Here is an oldie I’m resurrecting to give myself a bit of a lift after seeing the possible bad news. I’m tucking another little dragony Whimsy into the thread as a what-the-heck.

Re: Dragon brought out

I looked in here wondered where all these people came from, then I saw the date lol. Do love your tea drinking dragon. The newer post is cute, makes me wonder what's going on there.
