Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter figure in costumes from today

A group I belong to had a burlesque dancer to model for us (she posed last year and everyone loved her) - she brought along some wonderful costumes. Poses were very short so racing to capture something quickly.

She had a totally amazing Medusa outfit and a wonderful black feather headdress, a fantastic boa and a beautifully gold embroidered chiffon negligee - oh for more time!

The first one there (actually the last of the afternoon) is in Conte pencil. The others are a mix of conte pencil, charcoal, watercolour and Caran d'Ache Neocolur II, with a water soluble wax gold crayon from Lidl

These are wonderful quick studies, Vivien! What a challenge to get so much information down in a short time.

Super job. There is so much detail in these. The first one in particular looked like a study for medusa.

Re: figure in costumes from today

thank you all it was pretty intense to try to get the information down in the limited time! The headdress was heavy so she couldn't keep it on too long - 5 minutes was her limit even when dancing.

So this is what you get up to in Leicester nowadays!
Very lively, unfussy sketches. Looks like fun!

Yes we get up to all sorts! MY daughter said I wasn't a typical x year old! You should have stayed in the LSC I booked her last year and she was so popular that it could become an annual event! So much fun to draw

Re: figure in costumes from today

it's not easy to try to convey the figure in a short time... let alone with elaborate costume... you've done well here!
