Pine Cone, Ai and all. Thank you so much. Gene is doing well just busy going back and forth to Austin. I'm OK as well.

I sketched here this morning on my footstool in comfort in the big book with a Prismacolor 03. Probably about 30 minutes.

Number 5, jackrabbit - we have those in this area but haven't seen any, they are more a dry land rabbit. I sketched Gene's stuffed March Hare as a substitute. It is brown and white.

Ai — It was fun to learn about the Pony Cafe that you stopped at on vacation! Your sketches from there are wonderful! I love the closeness of the mare and foal and the woven sense of the stuffed fabric horse!

I agree that the grand tree looks like an Oak. Your sweeping sketch is indeed "grand." The Chevy radio is fantastic as well - what a cool find!!! Wonderful beach/jetty sketch. I love the wild beauty that you caught together with the lonely human beach furniture. I love the jug too. Its colors somehow tie together with all your other sketches for this event.

What a strange dinosaur — Truly terrifying, just as he would have been all those millions of years ago Fun sketch of a "great find" as Jo said! I'm looking forward to seeing your sketches of the other dinosaurs when you go back

Jo — You've gotten so much done! Your baby jumping chick stole my heart Look at those cute little wings!!! Love the blueberry jam — I just had some too LOL!!!

You've painted a sublime resting place on your iPad — uplifting — like a bit of light-hearted Heaven 🌟

That's a fine Jeep, well sketched from a difficult angle!

And Gene's March hare is another heart-stealer! Adorable and comforting

Joan — Cool Jeep, like a noir edition! Love the tangible difference between metal and glass. Great gear shift, and your jetty has me coming back to sit and watch - wonderful!

Good morning all or evening as the case may be.
Thanks, Pine Cone. My smile today.

I sketched in the big book with a Prismacolor 03 and added a bit of colored pencil. I love when I can eat my models.

Number 6, jellybean - sub the last of the Easter M&M's

Re: Scavenger Hunt #587: May 12 - May 20

Some of my sketcher friends stayed over night at a Thai classical style homestay called Luang-Prasit-Canal-House. So I visited and sketched with them before they checking out. Later, we hopped on a short taxi ride to the Artist House Cafe by BangLuang Canal to sketch some more. At this place is an eclectic of Thai craft, art corners, and free Thai Puppet show from 2:00-3:00 pm., which attracts so many tourists both foreign and Thai alike.

#1 jade ... the house at Luang-Prasit-Canal-House homestay.

#2 journal ...my record of eclectic life at the Artist House .

Pine Cone, thanks.

Scatty, awwww, love your choices. Grommet is so cute and fun to watch. Do you play the sax? I played a clarinet in high school for a while so remember the reeds well.

Thanks, Ai. Your sketches are so colorful and full of life. Thanks for sharing your day and photos with us. Applause!!!!
