Nobby boats on the Mersey

oils on board size 12 x 36 inches.
the scene shows Nobby boats during the annual river festival,in the background is the Isle of Man ferry and a Mersey ferry.

Have you noticed, unless you have something like the Liver Building or other landmark. Everywhere is starting to look the same. They all seem to have fancy towers with restaurants or viewing places.!

I agree Jim,they have turned all our town and city centres into clones of each other,and all these places depend on people having spare money to spend,which i think will not last much longer,what then?.

this is a enlarged detail ,I should have mentioned that these Nobby boats are restored Morecambe Bay prawners a couple of them shown in this painting are 111 years old,the oldest one that is still sailing was built in 1898.

Fantastic detail on those buildings, ive painted that waterfront a few times but never that good.
