Mackenzie Vase

This is my first attempt at a still life, and in a new medium for me. I think it came out well.

18x24" water mixable oils
C&C welcome
Thanks for looking, Brad.

Re: Mackenzie Vase

Excellent start, Brad.
Welcome to the wonderful world of still life.

With still life you might want to use a wider value range - darker darks and lighter lights.

Good start. I think the background may need some tinkering. Perhaps some yellow into the violet?
The vase certainly is the star here.
