April Owl

4.75x3.75 Brusho/watercolor/gouache bird art done this afternoon, drawing only with a brush using several old owl photos. I used Dark Brown Brusho crystals over lightly spritzed with water 140 lb cold press paper. Actual size is posted below

Re: April Owl

Gorgeous! I haven't been able to control Brusho at all, that's impressive.

Re: April Owl

Thanks Barbara and Virginia. Don't try to control it and you will be able to paint with it or around it. Look up Ward Jene Stroud who is amazing with it and has info on youtube, etc.

Re: April Owl

Love your owl painting. Actually I think it would be so much more impressive in a large size painting.

Re: April Owl

Thanks onestrokeartist and Christel! I do the small ones as practice w/ Brusho before tackling larger works.
