Re: F4 Phantom ASF Leuchars 1987.

Hi John , Forget the shadows bit - I should have looked at references before opening my big gob . your shadows are fine . I was thinking that the light inside would be quite harsh but in the several photos i found on line it seems like the lights counter one another from different directions and the shadows are quite soft as you have shown. Sorry !!

Re: F4 Phantom ASF Leuchars 1987.

Decided to have a play with the shadows colours and transparency Neil. Read up on shadows last night and have a bit more ideas of what I should be doing. I think I may need to change shadows under aircraft again. It's all practice

Re: F4 Phantom ASF Leuchars 1987.

For the lights, one key is to not put sharp lines near by. Removing some detail near the source can help it seem brighter. As you suggested earlier, some strong darks nearby can help that out.

Thanks Trumpeter. Going to add some tool boards to the rear hangar walls. A bit anxious about adding technicians

I added a couple of armourers struggling with a seat structure, tool board in background and some other details. To be honest I've burnt myself out with this now and I'm going to call it finished.
Comments welcome. ..ta for looking. John

Thanks for the positive comments. I may do as Trumper suggests and look at it later on. Possibly add another technician.
