Joan, I finally found a quote I've been looking for because you remind of it in the way you keep going out there, keep sketching, keep going in all situations and all weather, keep posting, keep commenting... You've inspired me so often and in so many ways.

Here's the quote: "Each person must live their life as a model for others." (Rosa Parks)

I fail at this every day. Totally. Yet you embody it. Thank you for your life, and for sharing it with us with such grace.

Jeanne -
Good to see you here again. Looking forward to you hunt pictures.

Pine Cone - will repeat myself again. You are great for my art ego. Also glad you share in the loss when jo wipes a page. But we have pictures of it here forever.

Ai - Hope Lily feels better today.

Scatty

Keep sketching
Joe

Joan, those sketches catch a bit of history. They are really good. Like Joe says, a new teaching career.

"J", Jeanne, I couldn't wait so went to facebook and found your sketch. It is truly amazing and a fun collection of your collectables. So much fun to see you sketching here. I be happy, as my son used to say.

Ai, hoping for speedy recovery of Lily. Time for you to rest, too.

Thanks everyone on my sketches. Think of my wiping off as practice and experience. The Colourfix paper is really tough. Economical to use it over and over and I have the photos on my computer and blog. It is a good way to improve my techniques. I be happy. BTW I have piles of old paintings and sketches that I didn't take photos of and they just collect and make dust. May never see them again. Hmmm, maybe more wipe offs!

Eyepaint: Nice animal sketch

Jo: Thanks... Beautiful pastel sketch landscape, love the color. That pastel sketch of the yellow is also beautiful. I can see why you like pastels, great work.

Joe: Thanks. We will be heading down to Clearwater Beach, Siesta Key Pompano then Orlando over the next 2 months... This is our 5th year doing this and we enjoy Florida very much. We drive down and stop over night about 4 times... Basically drive 5 hrs a day then stop. Thanks for hosting!

Ai: Nice idea for older than me and well done. Very nice looking quiet place

Pine Cone: Thanks

Jerone: Great ink sketches. I like the set up.

Scatty: Thanks. Interesting drink. Yes I again almost fell out of my chair... too funny

BDancer: Nice pick for round and so warm. We are heading into some very cold weather enjoy the 70 degrees!

Joan: Thanks. The guy in the mirror is suppose to be me but my figure sketches need much work. Your watercolor sketches are great, love your figures....

J: Very nice. Missed your set ups. Love them
