Re: Scavenger Hunt #567: Dec 3 - 11

I sketched in the small sketchbook at the doctor's office. There for a check up on Gene. (He's doing well)
Number 5, quiet - the empty waiting room except for us.

Thanks, all.

Welcome, number 9, no judgement here. A place to practice and tone up your drawing skills, chat and have a good time. We like all styles and sketches. Looking forward to yours.

Jo - lovely "quiet"

5. fist three views
6. clothespeg
7. dog toy missing an ear (I think it's supposed to be a skunk? Besides the missing right ear it also has a big wound in the belly button area and the squeaker and significant amounts of stuffing have been removed.)

Cheers,

Re: Scavenger Hunt #567: Dec 3 - 11

We just came back to our Bangkok home after a short get away trip to our cabin at Rajburi... The first day of the trip, we stopped at a wildlife refuge aka KhaoPraTubChang Zoo. I did a quick pencil sketches of a few animals...

#7 quiet ... sheeps ...we donate some money in exchange to a bundle of grass for Lily to feed the sheeps

#8 loud .. some birdies there

Thanks, Ai. Good job on the fists. Great colours to that cabin and the lanterns. What fun to sketch the animals - love the photo of the people all wearing hats

Re: Scavenger Hunt #567: Dec 3 - 11

Thanks, everyone.

EP, great hands. What a cute toy. I like the clothes pin sticking out of your hand. Clever!

Ai, great fists. A perfect find for snaps shut. The lamps look nice and colorful. Tell Lily the cabin roof and trees are beautiful. Thanks for the photo of you and the girls. The animals are full of gesture and life.

I sketched while watching TV, not a good idea. Tried to cover the mistakes with hatching. This is in the coffee table book, too, not great. Ha. With a Micron 01.

Number 7, clothes peg. I keep them in an apron in a bucket.

Thank you, Jo. Well done capturing the apron of clothespegs in the bucket. Do you still hang clothes out on a line? I don't yet I have so many clothespegs around here because they are handy for so many things.

EP, thanks. Yes, but usually it is just sheets and pillow cases. I love the way they smell when they've been on the line. Other stuff goes in the dryer, I hate to iron!
