Having hiccups while painting, or being extremely nervous or just plain messy doesn't count in my book, Earl.

My response to last ArtistOz post: Huh... what?... really?... sigh. To me it's quite obvious Ms. Radstrom is amazing.

No worries Bill! I suspected you were joking.

Anyway- I keep thinking about radstrom’s paintings- Pentimento is hardly new but I think shes trying to do something novel or at least trying to use an old trope in a fresh way. That’s what really got my attention. It’s damn hard to be creative. -Earl

What a wonderful post, thanks
I discovered so many,
I didn't know many of these artists so thank you very much
Sarahy, david,
bethanyt, caldwell.brobeck, costance, thank you, you have posted some exceptional, wonderful artists, many are new for me, artists, wonderful works that I am admiring and I still have to look for them but thank you for allowing me to admire everything this is for information. thank you
Now my favorite artists are many more, I love michelangelo, leonardo, klimt, Daumier but also many others and as said after this post there are many more.
Actually, a lot has increased since I joined the forum that the forum is full of wonders and wonderful artists.
I wanted to mention Honoré Daumier.(I hope it will please you)

He has been very prolific and eclectic ; so I post some of his favorite works.

From wikipedia :

Honoré-Victorin Daumier (French: [ɔnɔʁe domje]; February 26, 1808 - February 10, 1879) was a French printmaker, caricaturist, painter, and sculptor, whose many works offer commentary on social and political life in France in the 19th century .

But I'd also like to mention others too. Difficult to choose just one

Thanks to all who posted. Enjoying the links and inspired by the fine artists. Here is some from Jules Breton, one of my favorite painters from 1800s. I would consider him with Barbizon school, but not usually listed with them.
